Not sure why people don't love this
I'm not sure why people don't love this. I never used this scent but I have been a die hard satsuma shower gel girl for decades. This smells fabulous to me. Just like real roses and I'm a super smeller. Lathers great. Pairs fabulously with the rose perfume I use from Chloe. Will buy again.
Please bring back the original scent!
The scent of this version is really unflattering. I have been a big fan of the British Rose products and loved their scent. But this version smells like a cheap hotel shower gel. It is horrible. Bodyshop, please bring the original scent back.
Beautiful scent!
This is the scent I love!!! I have used this for years. I am a Grandmother now and this reminds me of My Grandmother!!!! I really hope that it will be available again soon because the "new" scent is nothing like this.

When I saw that the British Rose was "NEW" I thought it was just the bottle - however when I opened a bottle and smelled it I was unpleasantly surprised!!! This smells horrible! I have used British Rose Shower Gel for years and this may be new, but it smells nothing like it did. I ordered 4 bottles that will be returned and until the Original British Rose comes back in stock, I will not be ordering again.
One of The Best
This bb is Gorgeous; it's feel, smell, wear. It's the lightest yet longest lasting-not too heavy-rose fragrance, I have ever worn. It blends easily with other scents, too! It's good for any season. Just try it.
The best rose fragrance out there
This is one of my favorite shower gels. Most Rose fragrances are just fine and smell just like you are showering in the essence of the flower, however, this fragrance is about two steps ahead of the competition. The best smelling rose fragrance ever. Please, never stop making this one.
Excellent product
I have been so much concern about the type of skin product I can be loyal to, that can help me with fresh and soothing skin until I found this from a friend who recommended it. My skin changed for good within just 3weeks of using it.
Beautiful Rose
I love this British Rose Shower Gel, the fragrance is not really strong or powerful but not really mild either. It's like right in the middle, just perfect!! I grow Rose's and I have one favorite rose named Mr. Lincoln that has a beautiful fragrance just like this shower gel. It makes your skin feel soft and smells just like a Rose. I Love it & it's my daughters favorite.
Good Stuff
Very good product. I purchased British Rose Shower Gel. It has plenty of bubbles by using a little of the amount. It also moisturizing my skin, don't feel dry out after shower. It has lovely fragrant. The only thing is a little pricey.
Your products make excellent gifts
Since most of my purchases are used as gifts I cannot write reviews for them. I can,however, tell you that I have used your products for years and try to introduce others to the high quality of your products vs. others on the market today. Please don't ever change the quality of your products.
A good body wash
It gets you clean without making your skin feel like it's dried out. My only complaint is that I wish it would come in a bigger size like those big pump containers, I don't really like to have to order a new one every few weeks especially since it takes to long to get here when you choose free shipping.
Good Soap Bad Bottle
The actual soap is inside is nice but the bottle itself is so hard to use. It takes quite a lot of effort and nail to open it. It would be really nice if there is one with a pumping bottle (like the ones for hand soap).
TBS got their body washes right
If there is one thing that TBS can good right, it's their body washes. I have the most sensitive skin on the planet, and these body washes leave my skin feeling soft, smooth, slightly moisturizing, and clean. Sensitive skin friendly, and they actually put their ingredients online. There is one ingredient in here that if not washed off properly, it will cause break out, so be mindful of that. So maybe every day use isn't the best. But this top five of my favorite scent, and one that I will continue to purchase. However, still disappointed that they make this slightly more expensive and don't sell the bigger bottle.
British Rose Shower Gel
I love this shower gel. I use it everyday in my shower. The smell is so evocative of old rose scent. I have been using for years now and will continue until I can no longer find it at Body Shop. If you like rose, you will love this item.
I am so addicted to this rose fragrance
This British Rose Shower Gel is exactly as described by Body Shop. Just a little Gel gives rich lather and leaves the skin well moisturized with a healthy glow. Most of all, I simply love the smell of rose that stays all day long. I wish I could get this in Jumbo size.
Love this!! All time favorite!
I love this – it is my all-time favorite. It is a better rose smell than what some competitors have. I love that it is vegan and feminine and not like a grandma smelling. I tried this on a whim and love it. I will definitely be ordering more !

I've been a loyal long time customer bringing two of my friends, sister, her friend and my boyfriend to purchase your body washes. My boyfriend, sister and I are truly disappointed by the discontinuation of the larger sized British Rose Shower Gel that I've purchased. I won't be buying those small bottles as they don't last us as the larger ones did and I end up paying more!! You lost a customer and I'll be seeking other brands because of that issue. My boyfriend will also stop using your products if the size of the Moringa body wash will be discontinued as well. Thank you so much!
Lovely scent
I usually do not like anything in rose scent, normally they smell like cheap air "freshener." But - this is a lovely, natural, light rose fragrance that leaves me happy I used it. I've also washed my hair with this in a pinch with great results!
I Adore This Product
I first tried this product because it smelled closest to one of the perfumes I currently use, Adam Levine for Her. Discovered this product has rich lather, leaves my skin feeling clean and soft, and doesn't leave an overpowering scent behind. Reminds me of an English garden.
Sooo good!
I'm very into rose designs and sents right now and this does not disappoint! It smells like roses without the "old lady" smell. Just really fresh and floral and feminine. Took the travel size with me to Italy and loved it so I repurchased the larger size.
