Not perfect
This product is not perfect and not soft, creamy, moisturizing, but a nice scent to it if you love soft smells. I absolutely love it. It made my skin nice and smooth.
Nothing like the old formula
The old formula was amazing! It was so soft, creamy and moisturizing. It just melted into your skin. This is hard, sticky and starts peeling up if you try rubbing it in a little too much. Kinda just sits there. After all the negative reviews the company has received, it's disappointing that they haven't brought the old formula back. I love The Body Shop but I won't be purchasing anymore of their body butter.
Beautiful Scent!
I got the mini hand cream in this scent and loved it so much I had to get the largest size available! It reminds me of being in paradise on the beaches of Hawaii! Plus it is super moisturizing (not greasy) and hydrating!

Love it. Moisturizes real well. Very lush. Coconut aroma stays all day but not too loud. I've purchased for years and will continue to purchase. Sale prices are great!

Great moisturizing body butter. Love the new formula. Some people are disappointed but I'm not. I've used the old formula and loved that one too! I'm never without this. I've used for years!
Keeps skin soft
I don't understand the low ratings. Yes, the consistency is different than it used to be, but it's just that: different. Not worse. It has a pillow-y consistency that spreads easily and keeps my skin hydrated even in the winter.
The coconut body butter is the best
I can't tell if they have changed the formula or not as I haven't bought any of this for a couple of years. But, I bought the jumbo jar and it still is a wonderful body butter for extremely dry skin. I will continue to buy this and it really, really works!
Has been a fave forever
One of the few products that really smells like coconut and not like coco mixed with something else. Makes me feel tropical all year round.
Hate the new formula
I used to swear by the old coconut body butter. I just bought a tub of the new one and it is AWFUL. Don't waste your money. It is not hydrating at ALL! I want to return it after one use. It makes me feel even more dry after putting it on. I am so disappointed because it was one of the only ones that worked for me. Why would they change something that was tried and true?
I will not buy this again. VERY disappointed.
After using the original formula for many years as well as giving it as gifts, I was extremely disappointed to find out the formula had changed significantly when I recently purchased a new tub. It is not anywhere close to as smooth and silky as the original formula. Why mess with what so many people loved?!

How To Use
Towel dry after exfoliating and cleansing. Scoop out a dollop of Body Butter. Slather over very dry skin sparingly or generously.
