First time use - immediately had to write a review

It's winter and my hands and feet have been dry for months. It's getting scary how mummified they have gotten and I lotion everyday. Just bought this by the registers…applied and washed my hands a few times tonight and they're still moisturized and at no point did I feel greasy. Smell is earthy and you can sense the hemp but it dissipates quickly and it's grown on me…I thought my other specialty hand cream was THE one but it has been dethroned!

Truly THE BEST hand cream on the planet

I have loved this handcream for over 15 years and it never disappoints. I worked for The Body Shop and sold it as the best, most effective hand repair cream you could find and I've never stopped believing in it or buying it since I left. Get it!!!!

SMELLS GOOD AND MOISTURIZES

I don't see why everyone hates this smell. It's not a bad smell at all. Everyone says it smells like the special lettuce, but it doesn't at all. It smells a lot like patchouli in my opinion and my mothers. I have eczema, but I haven't noticed this irritate it and have used it 3+ times. This hand cream should last a WHILE considering it's big and you only need tiny squeeze of this! Even the small body shop hand creams take me a while to finish. Im surprised a lot people didn't like the scent so I have to reiterate this again!!! People would probably stop you to smell this hand cream, it's like a earthyish smell, almost something you would smell or get at lush.

Love It

I used to use Nivea many, many times a day for my hands, face, and body. It's what my grandmother used. I'm not sure but I think Nivea changed their formula. my hands have been suffering. I love this. it's a little greasy but only for a minute. It absorbs fast. smells like tea tree. I love it. high-quality and works well.

Nothing beats it!

I love everything about this hand cream and the whole Hemp line from TBS period. As for the hand protector, it does just that. It feels rich and nourishing like it's actually doing good things for my hands. The cream is THICK and a little goes a long way. I have 3 full-sized tubes and one travel size for my purse. Never want to be without this stuff.

For context, I suffer from severely dry hands in the winter and mild eczema. Since starting this cream last winter I haven't seen my hands cracked, dry, itchy or inflamed once. I honestly believe the Hemp properties are healing and do the absolute most for suffering hands. Nothing aside from prescription steroid creams has ever healed my hands and kept them smooth, hydrated and eczema-free like this cream has. It is an absolute wonder product.

The whole Hemp line, including the Hand Protector has a very specific scent. If you aren't into herbal, aromatic earthy scents (Hemp, patchouli, Vetiver and the like) you may struggle to enjoy the benefits because there's no getting around the scent. I happen to love it and bought the whole line so I can cover myself from head to toe. All of The Body Shop Hemp products are equally amazing.

Rich, comforting lotion

This lotion is heavy, even a little greasy at first, but it protects your hands through several hand washings. It has a pleasant earthy scent that doesn't trigger my allergies. I love it especially in the winter.

My holy grail product for years

This is forever a staple in my skincare kit. I use this hand cream nightly and it heals dry and chapped skin. I go through one tube per year, so it's worth every penny and a little goes a long way! It doesn't leave a greasy feeling and is lightweight.

Yep, it reeks. But it's the only hand cream that works

Yeah, this smells like 1992. But it works so, so well. I used this 20 years ago, and it worked amazingly well, but I was young and dry skin wasn't much of a problem. Now, my skin is considerably drier and cracks and bleeds in the winter. Nothing has worked, so I remembered this and figured I would see if it would help. Literally ONE use and the cracks have healed and my callouses are noticably smaller and softer.

Just what I needed

I was looking for some kind of hand repair cream to combat the dry skin I get from a combo of constant dishwashing, and dry winter weather. This cream is perfect. Just a little squeeze goes a long way and it really does make my hands feel better.

Definitely!!

This is THE BEST hand moisturizer. I have used it fir several years and have recommended it to several people. I put some on every night before going to bed and my hands don't crack. I only use it in the winter months as that is when my hands tend to try out. Using this prevents that from happening.
