Not a fan of the new formula

I have used several of the body butters from TBS for close to 20 years. I once considered these holy grails and would have literally eaten Top Ramen to afford them. I understand that companies have to adapt and change marketing to their current customer base, but these new formulas are literal junk. I found the new scent to be noxious and unbearable.

Worst of all, it painfully burned my skin. Super disappointed in the "Vegan" formulas and how ineffective these products now are. I won't be purchasing from TBS after 20 years of loyalty.

So disappointed

I have used this product for 20 plus years. I recently took advantage of a sale and ordered 4 of the large containers. I immediately noticed different packaging.. a black bottom to the container seemed an odd choice for a womens product. Bigger disappointment is the product is absolutely different. It is waxy and the fragrance doesn't last. Feels like crisco.

Won't purchase again ..

New formula is waxy! Won't be buying again!

I'm so sad! This has been my favorite lotion for years primarily because it's creamier than most of the other body butters…and it has a wonderful smell. I recently restocked and the lotion I received is in an updated container which looked nice, but the new lotion is waxy and thick! I can't believe they changed the formula on a fan favorite!! The fact that it was more "lotion like" than the other body butters made it into many a review. Unfortunately I won't be buying it again. I want a product that rubs into my skin, not one that sits on top of it. Ugh! I don't understand why anyone at corporate thought this change was for the better.

Not Good

The smell is awful. Completely different from years past. I'm not sure why the formula has changed so much, maybe because it's vegan now, but I was really hoping to love it. Unfortunately, that's not the case.

Sticky

Used on clean skin-still damp. Tried it on my arms 1st. Sticky and tacky,the scent I bought had a very sour smell after application. Maybe another scent is better? Never have I used a body butter with this consistency/result.

Cucumber body butter is the worst

I was shocked by how vile that body butter was...how were you able to put that on your shelves? Where was quality control. What a disappointing customer experience. I've been a customer for over 25 years since discovering the brand in London '1995. Do better.
