The Body Shop Satsuma Body Butter

Not bad

This product definitely does moisture the skin. I like to use it after shaving my legs. This is my favorite scent of all the body butters. I will say that it leaves my skin feeling greasy but then again it is called "body butter". When you dig it out of the jar, it's pretty thick and takes some effort to rub it into the skin.

The cold air is around us and our skin needs Prodection from the freezing wind and temperatures dipping down. I know this body butter for many years and yes, I have many body butters around me in my house. A woman can change her mind and it depends how we feel in the morning or nighttime. This body butter smells refreshing and your skin absorbs it fast, leaving your body smooth! It is not too sweet and you feel refreshed and take the day on, once you pamper yourself with this proven body butter satsuma ! The Orange scent bust as soon as you apply it on your body. It stays with me the whole day and it's approved in this household. Live a little and feel the fresh scent to keep you alert and take the day as it comes. I would like to see many of their body butters as a selection in a box. Perfect brand and idea for someone who has almost everything!

The smells reminds me of a mandarin or a clementine when its being peeled; the aroma it gives off. Love it!

I usually use it after a shower on my arms & legs and it makes my skin soft!

Have used this for several years & still love it!

It's especially good/effective on very dry skin! Best used just out of the shower on wet skin. People always ask "what's that great smell?".

Love this body butter!

This is extremely moisturizing and long lasting. I have psoriasis and so it's important I'm selective in what I use. This is one of the few moisturizers I have found that works well, smells good, and lasts at least 2 days.

The new formula is TERRIBLE

This new formula is hard and lost it's smell. I have used Satsuma for over 20 years and this has to be worst it has ever smelled. The formula isnt creamy anymore and it literally has no smell whatsoever.

I Love Satsuma Body Butter

I absolutely love Satsuma Body butter, but I much prefer the "older" version of it. The new "vegan" mix, not so much.

New formula is terrible

I have used the Satsuma body butter for years, and could not be more disappointed with the new formula. To echo what other reviews have said, the scent is way less, the texture is not good, everything that made the old formula wonderful is gone.

In addition, I have noticed that whenever I try to thumbs up an accurate (negative) review, the website does not record it. It feels like they are trying to downplay the effect of the negative reviews and I find the entire process extremely shady. Shame on you Body Shop. I also question the batches of gushing reviews posted when it is CLEAR that the base demographic is unhappy. Very poor handling of the situation.

Please bring back the old formula!

I have been using Satsuma Body Butter for 10+ years. It's my signature scent, people would comment how good it smelled all of the time. The new version of this is not the same! The scent goes away almost immediately and it's no longer the thick, creamy, moisturizing consistency I loved. Now it's more like a balm. I don't like this new formula at all. If you ever bring back the original Satsuma Body Butter, I'll be the first in line ready to buy them again.

so sad and disappointed

wow.. i thought it was only me who thought the smell was gone.. i also have been using this body butter for years and years.. i'm a nurse and my patients always always said how wonderful i smelled.. and lately no compliments.. . why why why would you change such a well loved staple product??? i really hope it's not a cost saving measure…that would truly break my heart... how will i ever replace my signature scent?
