Ugh

I love the body shop so much which is why im sooo dissappointed in this product. Its like rubbing thick lotion with 5% scrub on your body, and it leaves a thick waxy residue on your skin. I scrub before shaving so this is a huge problem. Ill try the other two scrubs from tbs bc i am brand loyal.. but will absolutely not be buying this formula again

Threw it away

If i could give this no stars i would. It is impossible to eadh off. It's waxy and sticks to your skin, then gets all over the towel when you dry off. Threw it out after trying it twice.

It's a pity you changed the formula, it's gross

I have bought this exclusively for more than 15 years. I will not buy again. You have changed the formula. It's gross. It's like washing with Shortening with sugar in it. The smell is not what it used to be. I am truly heart broken, I loved this product. I'm done with it until you change it back.

SOPHISTICATED SPOILING LUXURY!

A dime size of this illustrious polish reminds me of widely acclaimed spas and hotels!! I fell in LOVE with how much moisture and softness this delivers! I include the Shea Body Butter! Thanks for NOT using cheap "Glitter-Candy-BdayCake" formulas!

They changed the formula

I've used the Shea Exfoliating Sugar Scrub for at least 20 years now. My recent purchase was very disappointing. There is less sugar and it leaves a waxy/greasy residue on my body that took 3 washings with a body scurb sponge to get off.

Waxy and sticky

I was expecting a body scrub when I purchased it, and was incredibly disappointed. In comparison to the other Body Shop body scrubs, this is not exfoliating at all. The texture is also very off putting - It's basically like slathering your body in wax. It doesn't come off in the shower, but it does leave a horrible white residue on your towels while somehow still staying incredibly waxy and sticky on your skin.

Not as good as it used to be

I really love the previous formula. It cleansed, exfoliated, and moisturized all at once. The current formula feels a whole lot more like applying heavy lotion in the shower. It really doesn't seem to have the same cleansing and exfoliating. I do appreciate that it doesn't separate the way the old version did, but I just can't love this product the way I used to.

My holy grail product

I have combination skin and occasionally get cystic blemishes. I have been using the Body Shop's tea tree oil as a spot treatment for years but it wasn't until an employee turned me to this serum that I noticed a dramatic difference in my skin. The tea tree oil definitely works but there's nothing like preventing an issue before it starts. If i'm regular about my use of this serum I do not get any blemishes, though I still get the stray blackhead. & for the reviews that state there is no drastic difference I would say it depends on the extent of your acne. This works more as a preventative step than as a cure-all for existing pimples. I know it's working because when I go days without using it, between bottles :(, i start developing a breakout. 10/10 would recommend, I literally got my sister and my roommate to start using it.

Love it!

I have very oily, blemished skin and this line of products helps a lot. This is the 1st time I've tried this and I love it. It's not greasy and it absorbs very quickly and leaves a matte finish. I would definitely recommend using this after washing with a mild soap. This product is expensive, but worth it.

Finally something that works!

TL;DR version - Pregnancy wrecked my skin, this finally cleared the acne! Definitely easier to apply directly to your face.

I'm 37 and have been dealing with acne since my teenage years, with varying degrees of success. But pregnancy really did a number. After my second kid I was struggling to get the acne under control. The routine that had been working great prior to getting pregnant wasn't doing jack, and I didn't want to go back to benzoyl peroxide (effective, but drying and discolors fabrics). I had tried tea tree products years ago with moderate success, and figured what the heck, might as well try again. A+ decision making on my part. I use a gentle, non-foaming cleanser, apply this solution, then moisturize, twice a day. The acne started clearing up after about 2 weeks, and has been steadily improving since. The directions say to apply it to your fingertips and then your face, but it's really too thin for that. It's much easier to put it directly on your face. It dries quick so I recommend doing it in sections.
