My skin literally GLOWS
I've used body shop tea tree products for the past 4 years and they've worked really well on my skin. Stopped into a store a while ago and found a vitamin c face polish and was amazed at how well it worked. My face was GLOWING and noticeably so. Decided to gradually switch over from tea tree to vitamin c and I really didn't think my face could get any better but it did. Got this moisturizer, the polish and the peel and let me tell you! AMAZING. These products work wonders and I'll continue to swear by them.
Contains 2 types of ALCOHOL
Sadly had to return this item since it was not the former formula. The former formula came in an orange container with black lid and contained no alcohol in the ingredient list. The new formula has 2 types of alcohol in it. Alcohol Denat. being #2 on the ingredient list while Isopropyl Alcohol is #10. Both of these alcohols are not safe to put on skin and offer no skin benefits; they only damage the skin by causing excessive dryness and disturbs the skin barrier. Hard to believe alcohol would be put into a moisturizer, it defeats the sole purpose of a moisturizer. I preferred the old formula.
The product I didn't realize my morning routine needed
I've been using this moisturizer for about a week now and it really has helped my skin stay supple and moisturized throughout the day. I don't have problematic skin, but consistency is a challenge for me. I'm looking forward to adding the serum and cleansing polish to see if the set compliments deeper.
Disappointed.
Very disappointed that The Body Shop has discontinued their Vitamin C Glow Protect with SPF 30. I've used it for years. The new gel version took 2 weeks to be delivered and it has no SPF protection and just doesn't moisturize like the lotion did.
Help for dull skin!
At the end of winter, my skin is dulled due to aging and exposure. I use the Vitamin C mask, then supplement daily with the Vitamin C Glow boosting moisturizer. It makes a difference! I definitely recommend both!
Nice choice
I previously used the Vitamin C Moisturizer with SPF which I love. Apparently they are reformulating the SPF line, so I tried this product. I do like it, different feel than the other but works well so far and gives the same healthy glow which is great especially in winter.
A favorite as always
I love love love this moisturizer. I don't really notice any vitamin C effects but as far as a lightweight moisturizer, it's great. Soaks in easily, smooths on well, doesn't take a lot to cover my face and neck, smells like *heaven*, and leaves me perfectly moisturized. I also love the switch to the new recyclable jar. Loses 1 star for a big air bubble in the jar and for drying sticky when humid out. It also tends to run back out of my skin if I wear a mask over it soon after applying.
Change in Formula and Packaging
I adored this moisturizer and even though I don't like the new packaging was excited to reorder when I ran out. I am soooo disappointed they drastically changed the formula. The old Vitamin C moisturizer was cream based with a lovely citrus smell. This is gel based, VERY THING consistency, with the most awful baby aspirin fragrance. It is a totally different product in terms of how it goes on and feels.
Vitamin C Glow boosting moisturizer
I not only use this product for my face, but My Legs! I suffer from dry skin (snake scales) on lower legs. This is the first product to ever get rid of it so fast and stay away! It's made a difference with shaving too. It's light, not greasy, absorbs fast and smells great! I found my genie in a jar! 🥰 My favorite product EVER!
Refreshing, Feels & Smells Great
I love everything about this moisturizer. You put it on I feels cool to the skin , with a little refreshing tingle to it almost and smells great. Feels light in texture and I actually like it better than my daily seaweed face moisturizer . This is my go to daily now for over a year and I'm happy I made the change it's so refreshing.
