Allergy reaction

I really wanted to love this product, but after two hours from the first time I tried my skin was red and I noticed some pimples that I didn't have before. Be careful if you have sensitive skin.

I didn't like the smell either and it is really thick.

Feels Nice, Smells Awful

I got a sample of this from the Body Shop website. Theres not enough in the sample for me to discuss long-term benefits so im only writing about the application and my immediate reaction.

For the pros, i do really like the texture of this serum, its very smooth and applies like silicone-based products. For the cons, its smells AWFUL. I don't know if my sample was just off (based on the fact that no one else in review space has mentioned this) but it smelled like acetone the second i opened the package. It did go away after a bit, but that first whiff was UNPLEASANT.

Too strong for me

Unfortunately this serum was too harsh on my skin. I know it is supposed to cause some purging, but it burnt the skin around my lips. I might try it on other parts of my body though.

Love this product

This product has reduced my dark spots so much. They are almost gone. This product is my skin care crack😂 Lately, I have been using it at night as well!

Has made my skin soft and not as full looking! Smells good but has a sticky texture while wet/drying but dries quickly after padding on skin

SEVERE ALLERGIC REACTION!

I bought this for my mom a couple days ago. A few hours after she tried it on, her eyes were swelling, red, itching and her neck area was full of white bumps and redness. After 2 days her condition worsened so bad that we had to go to the ER. She now has to continue meds and antihistamines for a week to clear her reaction. She's not allergy prone and never had this before!! Discontinue this serum!!

Extra Glow Factor

I love the Vitamin C serum so much, I gave it as a gift. It gives my skin a healthy glow and smooth feeling.

I was looking for a vitamin c

It feels very smooth on the skin. It caused me a little redness the first days but then it's fine (I have sensitive skin). It has a little of a strong smell but I like it and it goes away after a few seconds.

Game changer

I tried this just a few months ago on the recommendation of the store manager in Fairfax, VA. She was spot on. I wear it under my daily moisturizer and can feel and see a difference in my skin. Elasticity is better and skin tone is more even. Having used Body Shop vitamin C moisturizer for the past 25 years, I am happy to add another great product to my routine as I age. It works great if you choose to apply it at night, too. Added bonus, it's easier to pluck starry eyebrow hairs since I began using this. No idea why, but I'll take it!

Your products are sold without tell one how and when best to apply them for the best result. I would not purchase your product anymore.
