The Body Shop Vitamin C Microdermabrasion 2-stars Reviews
Read Carefully
Thought I was purchasing the Vitamin C Daily Glow Cleansing Polish, to only discover it had been discontiued. The Vitamin C Glow Boosting Microdermabrasion is too harsh for everyday use. Please bring back the Vitamin C "Daily" Glow Cleansing Polish!
Foe or Friend?
Used this regularly for the first couple weeks and had a major breakout. Stopped using for about a week to treat the breakout (ended up with black spots for the first time). I thought I was reacting to food or an infection. Started using the wash again and… another breakout. I have not enjoyed the breakouts or scarring.
It's just ok.
I was looking for a dupe for Rodan & Fields microdermabrasion paste.
This is not that dupe.
This has the same feel as St Ives Apricot face scrub (that is only $2.00 at the drug store).
Ehh?
Love the sandy texture. Really dislike the smell. My skin tolerates it well, but it leaves kind of a waxy film. Pretty expensive compared to similar scrubs. I'll experiment with possibly mixing it with other cleansers/scrubs (to keep the texture, mask the smell, and lessen the waxiness), but probably won't buy again.
