First time user, pleasantly surprised
Came across this product via am article talking about shampoo for thinning (men). Decided to order this product based on the reviews and roll the dice. The shampoo has a pleasant scent and lathers well. Had my doubts but after several months, my hair does seems to be thicker. Please note, I'm also using a topical mjn/fin spray (from hims) and laser cap. So for what it's worth, my hair is overall thicker and fuller so happy with overall look and feel. I guess all three is the answer? 🤣
Excellent shampoo for thinning hair
My husband is on his sixth bottle of this shampoo. He loves the masculine scent, and his hair shedding is pretty much zero at this point (he uses the complete Thick Head system with the shampoo, minoxidil and supplement). I'm no longer picking up hair everywhere. Honestly with all the anti-DHT actives in this formula it's an amazing deal. He says his scalp feels great when he uses it.
Works great, hair loss is stopped
My husband uses the whole Thick Head system - shampoo, hair gel, minoxidil spray and the vitamin supplement. His hair shedding is at a minimum, I'm no longer picking up hair everywhere. His hair looks nice and shiny, and very healthy; his MPB seems to have stopped advancing. He has not complained of any scalp itchiness. The shampoo is an excellent value with all the DHT controlling actives featured in it. He's on his 5th bottle, loves the masculine scent. I hope it comes back in stock soon.
I love this stuff, please don't ever discontinue it
I use this product for my androgenetic alopecia. I am a 25 y.o. female. My hair started thinning when I was 20. While I use this product I notice that my "hair balls" that I lose in the shower are much smaller. It's also good for clarifying the scalp of build-up and oil which is good for people with greasy scalps like me. What I love is that it contains Ketoconazole, which is an ingredient that helps scalp inflammation and yeast overgrowth. It also has Saw Palmetto, a known androgen blocker. it's good stuff!
Not great
This smells great. It doesn't seem to help with thinning hair, but my husband and I could not use it consistently because it caused us to break out! There is no pump and the bottle can't really be squeezed, so it's hard to get the shampoo out.
Itchy scalp
I don't know why the reviews are so great on this item but I was sold because of those reviews. I was greatly disappointed. I understand we all have different scalp etc but when I tell you this product made my scalp itchy and inflamed. I had to go back to my prescriptionfor scalp issues which I hadn't used in six month cause I finally had a clean scalp with no issues. If you have dry, dandruff, and easily irritated scalp please stay away from this item.
Did not like the feel of my hair
It made my hair look fuller but did not like the feel after washing, hard to comb or brush. Dried better though

Hair looks thicker immediately!
My husband recently started using this, so I can't yet speak to long-term effects. I can tell a HUGE difference in his hair texture - it's a little coarser, (he has normal, very soft hair) and looks 2 -3 times thicker. He can still style it normally (he uses a pomade to style), but it's pretty fluffy if he just lets is dry naturally. This shampoo has a very intense "manly" smell - he likes it, but others may find it overwhelming. All in all, he really likes it.
