Just wow
As my son hit puberty, his face, specifically his forehead, broke out so badly. It was some of the worst acne I have ever seen. I was desperate to find something to help calm his skin down. Nothing was working and I could tell his acne was really starting to damage his self esteem. I bought this kit and within days his acne was still there but didn't look so angry. It was about six weeks where he was still experiencing break outs but they weren't inflamed and angry. He started using this in April. Today his face is completely clear and the lot even helped with the scarring. He is more confident and isn't constantly trying to hide his face. I would recommend this kit to anyone struggling with severe acne. I wish I could upload the before and after pictures because I am just in awe of how quickly this cleared his skin. The only thing I recommend is patience. This kit won't clear acne overnight but is well worth the wait with how amazing his skin looks now.
Good products unevenly distributed
Don't get me wrong the products are great and help my teenage son with his acne but my issue is with the sizing of these 3. They are not equal and run out at different times. We always run out of (step 2) clear it up first, then (step 3) breakout star moisture, and a month later (step 1) keep it clear face wash. Why?! I find myself ordering single pieces often and it's a hassle. Why can't all of the products be a true 2-3 month supply? And I pray they go bigger with the clear it up and the breakout star. The current sizes are just too small besides the cleanser. Longtime and loyal customer but this has been bothering me. I'm constantly monitoring my sons skincare so he doesn't run out because it does help. So please help a busy mom out Tula!
Actually works
I had been searching for an acne treatment for over a decade. Being an adult with constant breakouts was embarrassing and I got to a point where I had given up hope that there was a solution to clear my acne up, until I found this kit. The transformation I have seen in my face after using this kit for half a year has been unbelievable. It has restored confidence in myself to the point where I no longer feel compelled to wear makeup any time I leave the house. Using these three products is the solution I have been looking for so many years to my sensitive, combination, acne prone skin. I highly recommend giving it a try!
Cystic acne alert
Ive struggled with acne for years now and have tried literally everything drug store brand. I never wanted to make the splurg purchase and it also not clear up my acne. But this product actually works, I have hormonal cystic acne and its been really clearing up my skin. Its gentle enough that it doesnt cause irritation to my skin, I did notice the gel was drying out areas around my nose and mouth the first two weeks. I cut back applying it all over my face and strictly the areas that needed it and my skin was totally fine after a few days! My skin type is combination/normal if that helps!
Only thing that works!
I have struggled with acne since I've started having babies. I'm 6 years into the journey, and my face was horrible!!! Like so embarrassing. I never went anywhere without makeup, including the pool. Finally o was at my wits end and I purchased this on a whim not expecting anything. I've used prescription stuff, everything. This is the only product that makes a difference. My face still isn't perfect, but it is 10000x better! My zits seem smaller and I have way less! I used to get zit after zit, and usually like 5 at a time. Now I get maybe 1 every two weeks and it's much smaller and goes away faster. I do think the foam wash hasn't done much, but the gel and moisturizer is great. I was afraid the moisturizer wouldn't be enough moisture because my face is dry, but it's absolutely perfect. I love it!
First Time Buyer
I was a first time buyer when I purchased this kit. I have been using it for months now. The face wash is very light and easy to use. I really like the moisturizer as well it doesn't feel heavy on my skin. Withing the first week my face did completely clear up. Right now I will admit though I do have a lot of acne on my cheeks and neck but I do think that is due to my PCOS flaring up. I have noticed my skin appearance overall is more glowy and healthy looking though. I have been buying other products though to give my skin a break from all the acne care and my skin is less dry since winter ended. The reason for 4 stars is only due to my acne not being more clear but I am still sticking with tula because I have hope it will help and I can say that with some of the other products they sell and this kit I am starting to see much better results.
Best Acne Treatment I've Found
I used to use Proactiv for yearrrrrrssss until they changed their formula, and during my second pregnancy the product basically melted my face and sent my acne into overdrive. I struggled finding something that was gentle but also tackled my acne well. A friend of mine introduced me to Tula, and after running the product by my mother in law who is an estetician, she also recommended that this product would work well for me. I have used it for over 2 years now, and will never use anything else! This is amazing!
Helped with my breaks outs!
I have had acne since I was a kid and after many years of managing it well I started to break out really badly again and basic products were not working for me anymore (such as Cerave). I was breaking out mostly around my chin/neck area and after using these products my acne went down big time! I wear a mask at work and I wear makeup as well so I think after doing that for a couple of years it started to affect my skin. I've never actually used a product that successfully helped with breakouts before. I used to have to use things prescribed by a medical doctor in order to stop by breakouts in my 20s (in my 30s now). But these products helped so much! I still am able to wear makeup and a mask awhile at work with very very minimal breakouts (usually around that time of the month). The only down side is they do dry out your skin but I have oily skin so it didn't effect me too much. I would just say if you already have dry skin be aware of that.
The Best
The level 3 acne kit has honestly saved my face from breaking out so much!! Nothing I tried was working. I gave this a chance and haven't had problems since. Like most things it takes about a month or so to notice a difference. You have to give it time to start doing it's magic. After about 3 months in I started completely noticing the difference. I went on vacation and sadly forgot it at home for 2 weeks and my face started breaking out again. Started using it as soon as I got home and it worked faster than the first time. It also leaves my face feeling so refreshed and clean. I pair it with the cooling eye balm which is another great review in itself.

My favorite thing about these products is they don't dry out your face as most acne lines do. I always feel refreshed and hydrated after each use. My skin did even out in tone but sadly didn't do much for acne other than reducing redness. The biggest downside is that the supply for each product didn't match up. Especially for a routine kit, I would expect the products to empty out somewhat around the same time but that is definitely not the case here and I used the recommended amounts twice a day. The gel lasted 1.5 months, the moisturizer lasted two months, and the cleanser lasted three months. This might be picky but I think it's reasonable to want the supply for each product to run out around the same time because you're buying them all together.
