Valentino Voce Viva Eau de Parfum Travel Spray

Maybe in warm weather?

Just sampled this for the second time. The first time was in june and i swore i loved it, but now i feel like i definitely mixed it up with something else because what i smelled back then was an orange creamsicle yummy creamy citrus but what i'm smelling now is a cross between an orange cleaning product and a drugstore shampoo. No creaminess whatsoever, just a musky orange. Not particularly offensive, but if i smelled this in public i'd assume it was the floor cleaner that i was catching a whiff of, not a woman's perfume. Maybe it was the intensa that i sampled back in june or maybe the warm weather that gave it that desirable creaminess? i don't know, but this just ain't it

Its not bad

I have the smallest bottle, and I would not wear it on its own. It has a very strong almost spicy, generic smell too it. I like to mix perfumes sometimes and this one smells pretty good mixed with a more gentle Vanilla based perfume like Billie's or a musky scent like ari's cloud 2.0. Its not bad with Baccarat either! I can see this being good for some people and it has grown on me a bit but it truly is best mixed in with other scents. Definitely recommend getting a sample and wearing it on your skin for a while before buying full size, or have fun mixing it like I do!

Brimming with energy and life.

Today I am reviewing a fragrance with the most ethereal and beautiful ad campaign led by the incredible Lady Gaga. Completely off topic, but it should be noted that this woman photographs exceptionally well. Looking at the website for the product, it describes the inspiration behind Voce Viva as a fragrance that personifies a voice. Spraying this on was an invigorating and uplifting experience. The aroma that radiated form my skin was evocative of the dynamic olfactory notes involved. The top note is brimming with energy and life, featuring the scent of Italian Bergamot (one of my personal favorites). This is only further sweetened by the ripe juiciness of the Italian mandarin. The couture heart is that of Orange Blossom absolute and a Golden Gardenia accord, elevating the fragrance and giving it an exquisite white floral bouquet identity. The base note is that of a cool Crystal Moss accord coupled with the warmth and comfort of Sandalwood and Vanilla Absolute. Also featuring the Jasmine Grandiflorum within its olfactory floral bouquet, this fragrance reminds me of a more vivacious interpretation of the Gucci Flora fragrance I reviewed yesterday. Invigorating, fresh, and warm and spicy deep within - the perfect Italian fragrance personified. Regretfully, I have to deduct a star because I experienced a slight skin sensitivity & mild burning sensation during the dry down, so for that reason, I am unable to continue using this fragrance. Otherwise, this is a truly beautiful smelling fragrance. Be sure to patch test before applying to your pulse points to rule out any possible skin sensitivity.

I had the gift size from my friend . I very very love it, The new fragrance is presented in an elegant clear glass bottle with Valentino's iconic stone details. Designed to tune the sound with the scent of a perfume. Perfume, like sound, is an expression of personality, a reflection of a woman's multifaceted temperament. The fragrance-modifying body offers a three-layered fragrance that includes floral, woody and fresh and sweet elements. After I use my gift , I had bought the big size for my collection.

Obsessed!!

I got this for Christmas and have been obsessed ever since, I love how warm, and intoxicating it is. It's addictive. I could wear this every day. It's very classy, and luxurious smelling. If you want to purchase a fragrance for anyone in your life, this is the one. You can't go wrong. It's not too mature (doesn't smell like your grandma, unless your grandma is into Valentino, then maybe it does, I don't know her lol), but isn't so youthful that it's childish. I would easily put this in my top 5 list.

So unique

I randomly smelled this when I was shopping and fell in love with it! I've never really heard anyone talk about this perfume before.. but it's super unique and I don't have anything like it so that was my justification for buying it lmao. I normally like fresh scents but this one is just the perfect combination of warm and sexy and sweet. I saw where some people said they like the intense version better so I sprayed both and I ended up going with the original. I think the intense smelled a little sweeter (I think it has more vanilla so that's probably why) This one also lasts a super long time too which is always nice if you're spending a lot of money on perfume. Highly recommend this one!!

a beautiful fragrance

I really love this fragrance. It has a simple, regular, designer smell yet still is among my favorites of my perfume collection. It's very inoffensive and safe for any occasion.

The ginger note is a hit or miss for people, but it's not super strong just really adds and extra KICK to the top notes of the perfume. It fades into a lovely green vanilla smell that seems to be rather popular these days.

It lasts a really long time on the skin and even longer on clothes. Pick up your shirt the next morning and I guarantee you'll still smell it. It's also one of my only perfumes I have been complimented on by both friends and strangers. I would recommend it as a gift for a friend or even yourself.

Valentino Voce Viva is AMAZING!

Valentino Voce Viva Edu DE Parfum is refreshing yet sophisticated. I have been loving this so much I now purchased the 3.7 oz. I started out with the travel size and I couldn't put it down!

If your looking for a new sent that gets tons of compliments, I highly suggest trying this fragrance out. It's described as a Floral Woody Musk for women. The top notes are Mandarin Orange, Bergamot, and Ginger. Middle notes are Orange Blossom and Gardenia. Base notes are Vanilla, Tonka Bean, Musk, Sandalwood and Oakmoss.

Sexy, elegant kind of mature but not old

First impression: ew, it is too mature for me. I went out with my dog right away and as I was picking up his poop, I was like... his poop smelled too good... then remembered I sprayed some perfume on my wrists lol so I think you should wait 10-20 minutes for it to dry down a bit, and I promise you, everything around you smells amazing. This perfume is very powdery floral, like the warm breeze in late spring. Quite zesty and gingery in the top notes. A hint of woodiness at the end makes this perfume slightly oriental, like some of Chanel perfumes (I am a big fan of Chanel perfumes, especially mademoiselle) If you are a big fan of Chanel, you will likely like this one. Even though it has a hint of vanilla, it is not a sweet teenage perfume. It is sexy, graceful kind of mature but not old (not like some powdery floral perfumes). I'd wear it on date night for sure. I think a cocktail party or formal event will be great too. It lasts a good 10+ hours. Definitely worth the price.

Italian Roots

Since L'Oréal Luxe absorbed Valentino fragrances, I have been worried that the brand would lose its identity. Voce Viva was allegedly Valentino's attempt to go back to Italian roots. While they achieved this, they also played it very safe. Italian bergamot, mandarin, orange blossom, moss and vanilla. The note pyramid delivers a bright, sparkling white floral. Very classy and very subtle. The focus here is more so orange blossom, as it's a prominent note and warmed by a vanilla infusion. I first found myself underwhelmed by Voce Viva, but underestimated just how pretty she is. This fragrance blossoms beautifully on skin. While I prefer Voce Viva Intensa and find it to be more "Valentino", the 2 concentrations can simply be seen as a day & night.
