I'll be upfront. I do not have any high expectations, for any lightening products available to non-professionals (like myself). They're all about the same tier, as far as I remember at least. However, it HAS been a WHILE since I ever took bleach to my own hair with my own hands, as I normally leave that to my hair ~artist~. Our schedules haven't aligned over the past few months, so my super light (lvl 10) ends were contrasted by my ever growing dark blonde roots, and I managed to find this gem. great product. it makes so much i had PLENTY left over. ive never had this with any other bleaching product. i have shoulder length hair. it easily covered my whole head for sure. if youre bleaching your hair, the worst thing that can happen is you run out of product and you have to try and smush some out from the hair youve already covered. the bleach is so reliable too. no patchiness. im glad i bought this. my only complaint is I WISH IT CAME WITH ITS OWN TONER TOO!! my hair had a yellow tone so i had to go to sallys and buy toner and bleach to get rid of it.

The bleach worked great. I had tried the Colorista bleach on my hair 2x and it still wasn't as good as this was. it got my roots really well and bleached my dark spots amazingly. I did notice it got darker overnight? I'm not quite sure why, it could be we missed spots but it seems less bright. The directions were a bit confusing so we had to look them up, but it worked like a charm. I would recommend this for people with very dark, thick hair. You will have to use Toner or purple shampoo if you are going for a white color or want to dye your hair as my hair is very yellow. but it did its job

I have been using unicorn lipstick shade and Burgundy over my very dark brown hair. I wanted to see the lipstick shade more than as a tint on my hair in the light. I have never bleached my own hair before. I followed the directions and I was so surprised. I have had highlights at the salon and the professionals never achieved the lightening this did. My roots did end up very blonde almost white while the rest was a very light orange/yellow almost blonde. I was expecting very orange but it was very light and the lipstick unicorn shade I applied after is so bright. The bleached hair with the full coverage hair color is now such a contrast. I love it. I have 2C level 4 curly hair and I've been wanting to do something different but curly hair specialists can be so expensive and not even have consistent results. I was a little afraid because I've never bleached my hair at home before but all the instructions were straight forward and I was able to lift the color to a level 7-8 in 30ish minutes. PPL EATER looks so pretty too and was very conditioning on my hair and my texture stayed the same. I am so happy my first experience turned out so well so if you've been reading the reviews and are still skeptical, pls take this as your sign to buy it!!
